Part B – Question #3

3. For the purpose of this question, we are going to view your first blog post (Part “B” Question #1)  as an introductory online campaign. Please answer the following questions:a. What is your intended goal and why? (3 marks)

I want to create brand awareness and make the local community aware of my content. I want the reader to be aware of what my content provides them and how it stands out from competitors’ offerings. I want my brand’s name to become synonymous with Essex County land windsor biking culture. In order to do this I need to create a positive brand image in my local communities as well as build brand recognition.

There are multiple similar shops to mine in Windsor and Essex county but most of them lack the community engagement my brand wishes to achieve. I want to outline to my target audience that my brand and brand content is king when it comes to local cycling knowledge.

b. Who are you writing for and why? (3 marks)

I’m writing for cycling interested people that live in Windsor, Essex, specifically for new riders who are not knowledgeable on the hobby yet and may need some guidance before making any purchasing decisions. My target audience has a wide age range because of how accessible and popular my product is. But mostly I will be targeting aged 20 – 60 year olds. I want them to be old enough to be making enough money to buy a name brand bike but not too old where they can no longer enjoy the wonder of riding a bike. My target audience is an active one and enjoys staying in motion. They may be using my products or services to better themselves or get in shape. The main focus of my market is being geologically in Essex or Windsor. I want to create a community effort to build a better cycling community for  future residents.

c. What type of “Experience” will you be creating for the visitors? Please explain and justify your reasoning. (2 marks)

I will be creating an accommodating and useful experience. My blogs and product reviews will welcome and guide any beginner to the world of cycling. I want visitors of my website to think of it as a useful resource, not just another local bike shop.
